As an industry-leading group of risk management professionals, MAC has a unique opportunity to educate and influence our peers and those organizations that govern our businesses. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of MAC and influence the evolution of risk management practices and policies in a highly dynamic environment. As such, we are looking for strategic leaders who have a passion for evolving our industry. The MAC Board of Directors elections are now underway.
The MAC Board is comprised of 15 Directors. Currently, the following positions are open for election: (5) Directors. As a MAC member, you may apply for any one of these open positions. The minimum criteria to be considered are the following:
- Have worked in payment industries (as an employee or independent contractor) for a minimum of five (5) years and must be employed at the time of selection.
- Be a member of MAC in good standing.
- Have the consent/support of your company.
Directors serve a two-year term starting on June 1, 2023. Directors are expected to attend monthly Board meetings.
The application must be completed and submitted by February 15, 2023, at 8 pm EDT.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to submit an application that effectively communicates their qualifications and desire to serve the MAC membership in this crucial leadership role. Candidates submitting incomplete applications will be notified and given the opportunity to resubmit providing that sufficient time is available within the application period. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
The Leadership Development Committee will contact all applicants and select interview candidates from qualified applicants. Interviews will be recorded and interview participation is a required stage of the selection process.
Merchant Acquirers' Committee (MAC) is an association of payments professionals and organizations dedicated to protecting the integrity of the payment ecosystem through ongoing education, communication, and collaboration among its members.
